These are the most commonly asked questions at Brean Bike Hire. Hopefully this page will give you all the information you need when visiting.
We will supply customers with puncture repair kits, if you have a more serious breakdown we will try and reach you to either repair the bike or bring another bike to you.
We do charge for delivery but it is dependent on a number of factors such as quantity of bikes, the location of drop off and collection and hires duration. The best thing is to give us a call or email and let us know what you would like to do and we will get back to you with a quote.
Helmets are not compulsory, however, we do recommend everyone wears one. Safety first.
No, the bikes can be used anywhere.
To be able to hire a bike you will need photo I.D. eg a driving licence or passport.
It is definitely advisable to book in advance especially in the summer when we experience very high demand. This will ensure we have all you need when you need it.
A 25% deposit will be taken at the time of booking if you are booking in advance. This is advisable, especially in the warmer months. We will contact you a week prior to the booking to finalise details and collect the remaining payment. You will be asked for a debit or credit card to complete this payment and those details are kept on our files and then destroyed when we collect the hired equipment.
